RockOutTo.com is the home of the solo artist TJ Whiting, who operates as the sole sonic pioneer behind the metalcore project PHELIXX LAKE, the alt-rock venture, Shout London, and the Trap opus, BADiSUN.

Whiting is an eclectically minded singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who collaborates with artists from around the globe to fuel his three individualistically autonomous projects, each of them exhibiting a different facet of his genre-mashing creativity.

Currently residing near Kansas City, the Floridian artist has his sights set on making an impact on music communities around the globe with each of his three projects. They may vary in style and genre, but at the core of them all lies the compulsion towards constraintless expression and lyrical integrity.

PHELIXX LAKE

Inspired by timeless 00s artists, including A Day to Remember, Senses Fail, Rain City Drive, Miss Fortune, and I Prevail, PHELIXX LAKE arrived on the metalcore scene in 2022 through the debut release, Recovery.

The extensively playlisted anthemic release, which surges through post-hardcore progressions, paved the way for the success of the sophomore single, Echo. Echo was a continuation of the electronically colossal tonal palette that holds no prisoners to ensure the visceral lyrical expositions made an unforgettable impact with listeners searching for biting monolithic instrumental hooks and vulnerable vocal candour.

With the debut LP, Betrayal Trauma, in the pipeline in late 2024 and the newest single, ‘Healing’, released through Ghost Killer Entertainment, PHELIXX LAKE is becoming one of the hottest new names in post-hardcore.

Shout London

Following a 7-year hiatus, inspired by the ennui-defined era, Shout London is back in melodic form following the release of the catchy earworm of a 2023 pop-punk single, White Noise. Bringing a sense of calm to a torrid world, Shout London gives voice to the intimate thoughts which scarcely go beyond internal consciousness. Projected against heart-in-throat hooks, Shout London’s cinematic alt-rock style is powerful enough to illuminate the darkest perspectives. Before taking time to mature his sound away from this project, Shout London collaborated with Andrew Wade from A Day to Remember on his debut album, Rememories, in 2013. Joined by a backing band, he took the stage at The Vans Warped Tour by storm in 2013, opened for the iconic indie rock act, The Goo Goo Dolls, and shared stages with members of Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, and Hawthorne Heights.

BADiSUN

Reaching the pinnacle of alt-trap experimentalism, BADiSUN amalgamates stormy elements of rock, indie, rap, trap and metalcore to carve out a new genre-fluid niche. Where fans of MGK, Blackbear, I Prevail, Kid LAROI and Iann Dior can dig into emotion-driven innovation that makes no bones about reaching evocative extremes as a means to an expressive end.

Out of Luck was the first installation of genre-melding alchemy, which was quickly followed by the sophomore single, ‘Bilingual’, which was recognized by BBC Introducing multiple times in 2022 and 2023. BADiSUN is now set to unleash his debut album, BAD in late 2024.
